“Collective Colour provide a range of creative, reprographics, database and print services to help your organisation stand out amongst the crowd. Combining creative flair and advanced technologies we enable companies to communicate with their client in the right way to make the difference between winning and losing.”
This £1.5M print and reprographics business is productive, efficient and profitable. With this as a sound base from which to develop the business the only question was then which direction and how was this to be achieved? – not so easy. CMP was appointed to help the directors make this decision and then deliver the results.
So, we listened to the directors objectives and concerns, what they new and what they didn’t, and then set about injecting some form of structure and plan to not only answer the questions but also give them the confidence that they were making the right decisions.
More than this however, this process had an almost cathartic effect. The clarity of vision injected fresh energy and enthusiasm that had an immediate effect on the performance on those managing the business. In addition, having someone outside of the business who is removed from the internal politics and every day detail provides an invaluable source of impartial advice.
Result: Over the last 15 months CMP have enabled Collective Colour to set out its business development strategy in detail and start the process of delivering the business benefits. The formation of a new division of the business is the first step in the creation of a bright and dynamic future.
Summary: In essence CMP has become so involved in the business that the role is now a blend of non executive director and project manager, this means providing both strategic thinking and hands on practical delivery.
